just been watching an episode - this guy had over 2,000 rats in his house as pets!!! rat catchers came in to humanely trap them all and ended up having to remove the walls - they were living everywhere - he kept just one after the rest were taken away - all his furniture was ruined as well

I quite like rats - interesting creatures, but to see so many in one place made me cringe

I saw that one too

Yuk. I hate them and mice and any darty things with long tails .

I started watching it till they went into the house and there they were all there running around en masse. I had to switch over

I did have a morbid curiosity to look in again later and as you say they had to take down walls lift up floors to get them all

I hoped I wouldn't dream about them later as I saw It in the evening

Rats!
They fought the dogs and killed the cats,
And bit the babies in the cradles,
And ate the cheeses out of the vats,
And licked the soup from the cooks' own ladles,
Split open the kegs of salted sprats,
Made nests inside men's Sunday hats,
And even spoiled the women's chats,
By drowning their speaking
With shrieking and squeaking
In fifty different sharps and flats.
