Loved Christopher Lee and Ron Moody. Both great actors in the traditional sense. Never caught them mumbling.

two immortals

I was lucky enough to see "Oliver!" on tour in the 1960s with the rotating stage.

I also used Marguerite Patten's books ........ in fact I still do :-)

I bought several paper back books titled 500 Recipes in the mid-1960s ............. there were ones for Fish Dishes, Chicken Dishes, Overseas Recipes, etc

They were very heavily used as I taught myself to cook dishes other than ones my mother had made.

Marguerite Patten is shown as the author of 3 of the 4 I still have and use.

and Ron Moody and Christopher Lee were great actors

I learnt to cook with one of Marguerite Patten's cook books. She had a good innings. RIP dear lady and thank you. <3

I adored Christopher Lee, the best Dracula ever.
