I do love all the pageantry we have here n the UK.
The Queen and the Duke are fantastic at their ages to keep doing all their public duties.

Love watching anything about the Royals, had to take my mum out this morning but am sitting here watching the highlights on bbc2. You may think I am sad but I recorded Kate and Williams wedding and if there is nothing on the TV I will watch it

First time for a long time I have missed the Queen's Birthday parade on tv but the news is on so I can watch a little bit. Just seen the bit with Prince George, so cute.

The Queen is amazing, such stamina to stand for long periods at her age.

I watched it on YouTube. The chopped the end off, when everyone leaves the parade ground....... I like watching the carriages going down the mall.

I tried to google for the weight of a bearskin hat...... found weights ranging from 1.5lbs to 7lbs & over........... couldn't help but feel sorry for Prince Phillip, holding that weight up for all that time!

I watched the cut down version at 6p.m. on Saturday while having a short respite from those mad women in Sheffield at the week-end.. I love it and have always made a point of seeing it. Also the Albert Hall poppy remembrance followed by the Sunday Morning parade past the Cenotaph on Sunday morning. The Cenotaph Parade always makes me have a tear or two as I think that year by year there are less and less of our heroic old soldiers from WW11 on parade who have passed over.. I would love to attend the Trooping of the Colours or the Albert Hall event but that will never happen as anno domini is slowly catching up with me.
