I've got to be wrong cos every book and charity shop put books and DVD's on shelves side by side so you have to crane your neck to read the titles. As i am tall, one on top of the other seems easier for the browser.

Happy days

What's happened to question marks

if they put them on top of each other then it would be difficult to remove one..i think that's why anyway...

Bit sad Annx when snap crackle and pop is no longer just corn flakes. Thought it was only toilet rolls which went on the ..bottom..shelf.

Happy days

Talking more generally about how shops display things; one thing that I've noticed is the way that Asda displays clothes. They put all the small sizes at the top; out of reach of the small people that they were designed for. And they put all the large sizes at the bottom; so the large people have to get down on their hands and knees. :-S

As a library assistant, I have to put all those books and DVDs into aphabetical order
My neck is permanently craned!

Stella is right, piling them on top of each other would be a health and safety issue.

Damnation, I'm wrong again. Thank you girls for your info.
Graham, interesting, never noticed that.

Best wishes. Happy days
