Well folks <3 I have good days and bad days ;-) specially with my eyes ;-) today is one of the bad days :-( so I'm off to lie down and rest ;-) later on today after I've had something to eat -) I'll watch television till it's time for my bed ;-)

I am pleased I’ve had no/know visitors this weekend. The last lot/Lott have eaten/Eaton me out of house/& home/Holmes. Never before have I witnessed such hungry/Hungary individuals.

You/ewe wouldn’t believe it. And steak /stake is expensive. Many of my guests appear elusive/illusive when the bill is presented for payment. Their wallets are mysteriously in their/there old jeans/genes. And they had no spare cash/cache - not a cent/scent between them.

I had to hire/higher a people’s carrier to transport them around. Unfortunately, it was too/to/two wide for my drive/derive way/weigh. And sore/soar feet prevented them from walking - idle/idol/idyll bunch.

They drank loads/lodes of wine/whine but Wayne/wane, who was born in Leeds/leads, stayed/staid sober on Sunday/sundae. His mother lives in the Tyne/tine area. I heard/herd him speak/speeke/speke to our/hour neighbours. He can be/bee a real/reel pain/payne/pane sometimes, his main/mane topic being the story/storey of the Forth/fourth Bridge plus various associated tales/tails. Otherwise, he loves rambling on about the Royal/Royle family both of whom are his favourite TV viewing.

His mum Rose/Rows/roes seems/seams to be a nice individual who likes to read/Reid/reed a lot. She doesn’t need/knead/kneed other avenues of distraction. Apparently, she was a novice Nun/none in her young days but too/to/two much praying/preying damaged her knees because praying/preying involved long hours/ours where she has to kneel/neal/neil, night/knight & day sometimes. She decided she was not/knot suitable for that holy position. She felt great/grate on leaving the Convent.

# Tune in again next week/weak if you/ewe/u would/wood like to read/reed/ reid more of this tortuous/torturous gibberish. Do you think I have a flair/flare for the written word? Come on now - be/bee honest! I will write/wright/rite more on demand. You won’t have to/too/two wait/waite/weight very long for the next eagerly anticipated episode. It all makes sense/since - doesn’t it?

Meanwhile, I’ll continue with my English language evening classes which are nearly finished. Wenglish is next in my language plans. Tally ho! - as they say in Devon & talk tidy in Wales.

PS. My spell checker/chequer is out of action.
