Anyone watching this? ( BBC1 daily 11.30)

Looks like the Beeb's answer to Long Lost Family, but based on the Salvation Army tracing service.

We do if we are in the room - it still gives the impression that its easy (and free!) to find birth families.

It’s an encouragement for us mere mortals to persevere with family history research.

I think its really good & normal people finding things themselves or through a service or company - also they tell you how long they have been searching

It seems a very genuine programme and they don't seem to keep repeating the same old thing all the time

No advert gaps either

They often refer to ancestry and infer genes helpers too .or maybe that's me reading into things

My only gripe is they make it look easy .the same as the itv programme , and looking at adoption records is easy as if anyone can do it

I thought that you had to be a certified person to access adoption records
