This site doesnt carry birth ,death or marriage of Scottish events and can only be found on Scotlandpeople,but can say by a search the birth was registered in 1940 in Ayr,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but no further details can be seen such as a maiden name,this is only known by buying the certificate which are £12.can send you the index ref details should you wish to buy the certificate.

sorry but those records are on Scotlands People website which isnt a subs site .

You have to purchase units to look up the birth ref and you can then order a copy of the cert through the site . think they still cost £10

Edit nope just double checked and they have gone up to £12 now

trying to find birth of Duncan j c simpson born Scotland about 1943/5 married Coventry 1965 to a patricia a Collins any help in searching will be most welcome . thank you rose
