I went ot see Flossy with Mum this afternoon and we were having a laugh with
some of the carers......she told me and Mum to go because we were giving her a headache that was after she had eaten her cream cakes we had taken in for her LOL :-D :-D :-D :-D

It was raining this morning, so we just had a drive around the immediate area, then went to Tesco in Bangor - how's that for birthday excitement! :-D :-D ;-) ;-)

We went to a pub for a bit of lunch, then the sun came out, so we sat on the terrace of the cottage, but it wasn't very warm!
We were going to go out for a meal tonight, but the place we fancied was all booked up, so we'll go later in the week. So, it's going to be the usual curry night in! :-D :-D ;-)

I love Flossy she makes me smile :-D :-D

I'm going to do the same when I'm her age :-D

Yes, but we didn't stop - thought we'd have a good look round when the weather is better. It's a bigger place than I thought. I remembered that song that was around in the 80's - Day Trip to Bangor - and I'd thought it was a seaside resort :-D :-D :-D

If you carry on through following the road through you can go for a nice walk on the little pier they have.....coffee and scones at the end for a treat :-D :-D <3

It's a lovely spot where we are - there's a footpath opposite the house which leads down to the shore - though I haven't been down it yet, shame on me! :-D ;-)

Yes I know it very well GiN.....you can sometimes see the cocklepickers walking up and down the shore as you walk on the Pier.....fascinating how they do it, they sometimes talk to people who are watching them....Its just two men and they have been doing it for generations in their family

There are a couple of National Trust properties nearby, so we'll have a look at those maybe tomorrow. Monday, of course, is already taken care of :-0 :-D ;-)
