A lovely thread from you as per usual Elizabeth.

So tomorrow I am gonna............

Brush off the clouds and cheer up,
Put on a happy face.
Take off the gloomy mask of tragedy,
It's not my style;
I'l look so good that you'll be glad
I decide to smile!

Pick out a pleasant outlook,
Stick out my noble chin;
Wipe off that "full of doubt" look,
Slap on a happy grin!

And spread sunshine all over the place,
And put on a happy face!

Dear All

Hello

The Celtic festival of Litha lasts from 20 until 22 June.

This is the time of year when there is equal balance of day and night.

After this, very slowly and hardly noticeably, the days will start getting shorter.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In ancient times, the summer solstice marked the end of the planting season and preparations were underway to welcome a good harvest.

As there was much sunlight, dancing, fairs and entertainment were the order
of the day.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In todays world, food is packaged up and bought from busy supermarkets.

We seem to have lost the connection to the land, where the crops, vegetables and fruits grow.

Our ancestors would have appreciated this, especially working on farms.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Emotions around this time are heightened.

As much as possible, try to live in the moment, not hurrying to the next thing.

Whilst taking some pictures in the local park recently, I realised afterwards
I was so busy clicking the camera I had forgotten to appreciate
the beautiful sights before me!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If possible try and see the sun rise and set.

Try and make peace with yourself first.

If there are problems and they seem insurmountable, try and remember
we have all been there too and found a way through,
even with tiny efforts and steps.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May you enjoy the delights of summer and be contented.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Take gentle care
With best wishes
Love Elizabeth, EOS
