I have just had hot matches come up and every one is for genes members trees I am already in contact with and shared trees with

Waste of time really ,BUT long time since the hot match system was working so guess should be grateful ;-)

No, not really!

Once you've clicked on the star, and selected the hints, they normally open in another tab. You need to send a message to tree owners asking for additional details and explaining why you are interested; you don't get automatic access to their trees.
You will also need the correct sub to see suggested records.

If you're looking for the gro reference for his birth, you could always use the free site FreeBMD
http://www.freebmd.org.uk/

His actual certificate won't be on line - that would have to be order at a cost of £9.25 from http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/

Hi

I've just had 28 items come up against my birth father and yet it wont let me view on them either in birth record or tree matches?? Does anyone know why this could be?
