Thanks to you Margee, I have spent most of the last 8 hours poring over those records :-)

I'm not sure I'm solving my problem ......... which is are the Parks who emigrated to Saskatchewan around 1910 in OH's line or only a side line (ie, the "other" Parks!)?

The Canadian records helped move that family forward, the last one seems to have died as recently as 2011 :-0 , but it's the going back in the English records that is the problem I've got back to before 1700 without any conclusive findings, ie connection between their ancestors and OH's. Back to it tomorrow!

It's not been helped by the fact that the temperature is rising .......... it reached more than 29C in the shade in the back garden, which means this room was over 32C at one point. The fan is blowing at full force on me, and I'm drinking water like you wouldn't believe .............. and getting rid of very little of it other than by sweating!

just been looking and found my mums sister and her hubby living with one of their married daughters right up to 1963 in Brantford Ontario

Auntie was a British Home child who went to Canada in 1909 aged 10 . I had found her marriage and she came over and met the family in the 1950,s after contact had been made with her during WW2 through another daughter who came over in the Canadian Nursing corps and found one of her brothers whilst here

I am in touch with the daughter she lived with who sadly hasnow lost her hubby so moved from what was that family home for many years into what now is a type of sheltered housing

Lovely to see the names online though :-D
