Well.............I am not impressed. I still fail to see why I am paying £10 more than some others.

Please be assured it is not the money, it is the principle. Am I getting something that others are not? I dont think so.

As for the answer from Genes replicated above, then what exactly does that mean?

I am a bog standard member, and it seems that Platinum is being offered for less.

Not a happy bunny.

Latest response from GR, what a load of CODSWOLLOP.................

Dear Joan,

Thank you for your email.

Some of our members are still seeing their old renewal rates and this is the reason for the difference in cost.

We're slowly moving everyone over to the new renewal rate and as this is a gradual process it will affect members at different times.

With kind regards,

Liam Kelly

Well Joan that email looks exactly the same as I got last year in Feb 2014 a copy of which I posted in my 14:24 Post......is that a coincidence or what ;-)

2014 - You have been billed £7.96 GBP for a 12 month Standard membership.

2015 - You have been billed £8.96 GBP for a 12 month Standard membership

Its gone up a quid for me. When I first joined it was a fiver a year in 1993.

According to Liam they are slowly moving everyone over to the new renewal rate. So what exactly is the new renewal rate???

MargaretM

MargaretM Report 2 Jul 2015 17:52

According to this you can join GR for 57p. a month. That's £6.84 per year. Perhaps we should all quit and rejoin. (Not me though, I'm still getting it cheaper.)

Good question Margee.

I doubt though that GR could tell you the answer !

Joan.

By crikey Belle, that Not Happy Bunny Face is scary! Just make sure the wind doesnt change! ;-) ;-)

So with the post from Margee, we are still no nearer to the average cost for renewal.

It seems that the charge may be akin to the Alphabet.

Amokavid has a cheaper bill. Letter A. While Londonbelle and me, Letters L and M. have a most costly charge.

Dont know how it works for Mildred then. :-) :-)

Sort it out someone........................please.

MargaretM

MargaretM Report 2 Jul 2015 18:11

That doesn't work, Motown, I'm an M and I only got charged £6.75. Mind you it did go up from £6.00.

Is it because I'm in Canada? But surely when we both click on the same link we should get the same page no matter where we are? I don't understand! Where are the computer experts to explain this?

Edit: Now I see Joan gets a different one! Has the world gone mad or is it just me?
