	You might find some burials on https://familysearch.org/ also http://www.freereg.org.uk/ Statutory registration for BMD in Scotland didn't start until 1 Jan 1855.

	no not for free I,m afraid Scottish BMDS are on Scotlands People site which isnt a subs site but is very reasonable for searching with purchased units If the cert isnt viewable on the site then it can be purchased through them
