Sliding wardrobe doors and fitted carpets

When we moved here the wardobes had been fitted over the carpet. However we have since had new carpet and fitted it across the wardobes. Probably save money by fitting the wardrobes first.. |

You might want to fit a strip of batten to the floor first then the track so there is something solid to end the carpet against. |

Thanks everyone for your replies. You've all helped us decide to get the wardrobes done first, then the carpet afterwards. Think we'll save some of the offcuts of the carpet and put it down on the floor inside the wardrobe. |
