I have available an 8 and a half inch Equatorial telescope to get rid of.
Complete with solid stand, viewfinder and lenses.
Will need some attention to the internal lense[ie cleaning].
This was bought for our son many years ago and has been in our garage covered with sheeting.
I live in the Cotswolds,so would have to be for someone fairly local.
Have tried to contact our local branch of the Society but ex directory!
Anybody out there interested?
Regards.
Michael.

OH would love it, but with the light pollution where we live it would totally impractical.

How about advertising it on eBay or gum tree? If you were happy to give it away try free cycle. They'd probably be queuing up at the door :-D

I heard about this the other day. Our local branch of Freecycle has about 12 items on it, but the local branch of Freegle has over 1,000.

The link is for Gloucester, but there are others in the Cotswolds. Good luck.
