Well the Russian word for a dog is so-bark-a

( bored, why are contracts inversely remunerative according to boredom and the idiot scale of the guys ( and sometimes girls) signing off the funding ? )

Why do people buy FH software when there is plenty of good stuff around for free? Even in the archives of Mordor aka Microsoft.

i got the mesage too this morning

We had to upgrade to version 6 roots magic as our old computer died & we could only dounload software to the new one

i do love roots magic - but not a lot of difference with version 7

I dont think we will upgrade as dont use Family search Tree - we have ours on Roots magic - I have some of my tree on here & some on Ancestry if I am looking for clues or help from anyone.

Still dont always trust online trees as had someone copy my tree many years ago & they were nothing to do with my family except in name

I use RootsMagic, version 4, I've had it for at least 10 years, it suits me fine, have no reason to spend money on upgrades.

I got an email this morning, part of which is:

On July 30, 2015, versions of RootsMagic 7 earlier than 7.0.6.0 will no longer be able to log into FamilySearch Family Tree.

This probably applies to other software,
