Hopefully Ann by the time you see her next she will be a little sylph like old dear, :-D She always used to lose weight in summer years ago, but the inactivity isn´t helping, (either of us) we are just thankful that the heat means appetites are also at a low.

Thanks girls ..Barbra we take Mini for long walks errr that should be carries :-D when she has had enough she sits down and refuses to move. ! but can´t go far in this heat anyway.
Liz I mentioned the buggy idea but OH said if we do that she will do a mother and never get out of it :-D and he (at least) doesn´t mind carrying her. I can´t because at (last weigh-in) 7.5 kilos she puts too much strain on my back. When I get her back down to 6 Kilo I will buy her a sling. :-D :-D

So pleased to hear this, Uzzi, maybe you need a buggy to get Mini out and about, bless her

Good News on Mini little love .our Mollie is the same with arthritis .we don't take her long walks anymore ..best wishes Barbra :-)

Good to hear Mini is improving. This hot weather will aggrevate /spelling/!) any aches and pains. xx

She is signed off for another week :-D Although she is still standing with the leg lifted slightly, she is no longer walking completely lame on it. We have to continue with the painkiller- anti inflammatory, (much to her disgust) and keep the walking/playing down to a minimum (much to her delight !) Other than that the vet will see her next week.

It looks like after the loss of Minx, Mini with her new sense of adventure has over done the bouncing around the furniture and house putting a little too much strain on a knee that is old and arthritic.

Still as long as we and she remembers that she is nearly 14 and an old lady she should continue enjoying a sedate life :-D :-D :-D
