I quite like her. She did apologise straight away and it was just one gaffe, whereas Clarkson has had numerous. He doesn't apologise either. Also she didn't hit anyone.

DoE is just a daft old man. Too old to change.

Personal appearance is totally irrelevant to skills - such a comment would be rude and unpleasant in any set of circumstances I can think of, including complete privacy

Jeremy Clarkson gets castigated for non PC comments, as does the D0fE and many others. A while ago Clare Balding, interviewing a winning jockey who had teeth like a row of bombed houses, made a comment that he could now afford to have his teeth fixed. She has gone from strength to strength. Is it because she is a woman? Or her sexual orientation? Just a thought. I am now off to the pub.
