Has anyone got a key to your house, Linda? Have you got a neighbour who will watch your house and see if they notice when the outside light goes on etc, it might be useful?

Actually, occasionally, I will come home from work, only to find objects stacked in an interesting way on my worktop.
I text my eldest 'Did you need a wee during your rounds today' (she's a maternity carer - and has a key to my house), only to get the reply 'No'
Then 3 hours later, I receive a text from her: 'Why, has the ghost been stacking things again :-D'
I'd never mentioned the stacking.....

I bought a 'new' - as in still in it's unopened original packaging - battery operated jar opener. I got it home, opened it, put new batteries in, tried it out and hung it up.
Two hours later, I was in the living room, (off the kitchen) and I heard it working :-S

Next time I was in the kitchen, I just told it to stop fart a*sing about.
No problems since :-D

I also live alone, and despite talking to inanimate objects, I am of sound mind :-S

I live on my own in a bungalow, but have to go down to near Heathrow to visit my mum at least once a fortnight if not more, anyway three weeks ago when I came home the outside light was on and I knew I had switched it off before I left when I came in the shower light was on I know that I sometimes forget that one so this weekend I went around making sure everything was off when I got home yesterday the shower light was on.

Tonight I was cooking something at gas mark 5 when I went to switch the oven off it was gas mark 8. I am of sound mind
