What the....?

6.40am

There are 15 cockatoos in the tree just outside the kitchen. BIG cockatoos, sulphur crested.

What a racket they're making.

I love cockatoos but I am not sure I would be impressed at that time of the morning !

My old joke from years ago was I would love a cockatoo or four ....wait for the RR button :-D I did want a breeding pair !

:-D :-D :-D :-D

A sailor came home from his 5-year sea voyage, and had two bird-cages with him.
He holds them up, and says to his wife, "Do you want the parrot, or do you want the cockatoo?"
She replies, "I'll have the parrot, I've had a cockatoo while you were away!"

it was the Galahs that used to wake us up in Melbourne :-D

I got used to the cockatoos waking. me up when I was in Sydney earlier in the year....but they didn't wake me up at 3 30 am as these blooming seagulls have been doing that are nesting on my flat bit of roof.
Our summer seems to have more daylight hours than the Aussie one...the cockatoos did wait till at least 6am...
At least I think they are almost ready to leave the nest..... :-D
