This was about the GreatGrandmother of Ginnifer Goodwin (she is unknown to me).
A sad story that lead her ancestor into trouble through no fault of her own.
This episode is set in the southern states.
I won't note more as someone wrote here they didn't want to know the 'plot' when I did so on an earlier series.

02 Aug - Second episode was Cynthia Nixon ... although JK Rowling was noted in the schedule - and this even remained on the TV while the episode was broadcast!

09 Aug - Alfre Woodard - noted as an actress for 35 years ... yet she is an unknown name to me. This episode set mostly in the southern states and it was UTTERLY BORING! 'Nuff said.

16 Aug - Fourth episode was AGAIN Cynthia Nixon ... although JK Rowling was AGAIN noted in the schedule - and this even remained on the TV while the episode was broadcast!
Getting ridiculous waiting for a new episode.

23 Aug - Fifth episode - Bryan Cranston - searched for his grandfather who deserted his family. He also found similar traits the further he delved into his ancestors. An interesting episode by recent comparison!

30 Aug - Sixth episode - Tom Bergeron - finds information about his 10x GtGrandmother in France. His quest takes him to Canada where he makes a discovery about his 9x GtGrandmother's 'status'. A very interesting episode for a change!

I missed this one - what channel was it on - I thought i had it set to record them all

It was on TLC, apparently. I didn't check the station at the time.

Forthcoming 'celebrities':
Tom Bergeron, Bryan Cranston, and Alfre Woodard.

Again, no one whom I really 'know'.

I dont think its on the Uk channel as nothing showing in TV guide or next weeks channel info
