My problem is, that having spent my working life in an all-male environment, Army from 15 years old, followed by Fire Service, I have a skin like a rhinocerus and think everyone else is the same. I won't be offended when someone points out that I have spelt rhy...rin..that thick skinned animal wrong.

I don't think any of the jokes are meant to be offensive, unfortunately a minority do. Like Bob my problem is that I was a Naval Architect at Swan Hunter and came into contact with many of the shipyard workers whose sense of humour wouldn't go down well on here but I thought it was brilliant.
There was a brilliant poet in the yard and his nickname was Ripyard Cuddling.

very little offends me these days, in fact the main thing on GR that does tweak my sensor is stupid idiotic people who RR just because they can. ! and do you know what even they can´t blow my stack these days.

Please don’t worry i am sure it was nothing we haven’t seen before

After working with Telephone engineers for over 20 years and now working in the travel industry and have a lot of friends from the Gay community there is very little I take offence to.

I don’t always understand the jokes but if i don’t like it i just leave it as other people might & we all have free will and free speech – well I use to think we did
