I'll live with my kids ......

When I'm an old , I'll live with each kid,
And bring so much happiness just as they did.
I want to pay back all the joy they've provided.
Returning each deed! Oh, they'll be so excited!
When I'm an old and live with my kids.
I'll write on the walls with reds, whites and blues,
And I'll bounce on the furniture wearing my shoes.
I'll drink from the carton and then leave it out.
I'll stuff all the toilets and oh, how they'll shout!
When I'm an old and live with my kids.
When they're on the phone and just out of reach,
I'll get into things like sugar and bleach.
Oh, they'll snap their fingers and then shake their head,
When I'm an old and live with my kids.
When they cook dinner and call me to eat,
I'll not eat my green beans or salad or meat,
I'll gag on my okra, spill milk on the table,
And when they get angry I'll run if I'm able!
When I'm an old and live with my kids.
I'll sit close to the TV, through channels I'll click,
I'll cross both eyes just to see if they stick.
I'll take off my socks and throw one away,
And play in the mud 'til the end of the day!
When I'm an old and live with my kids.
And later in bed, I'll lay back and sigh,
I'll thank God in prayer and then close my eyes.
My kids will look down with a smile slowly creeping,
And say with a groan, "She's so sweet when she's sleeping!"

Fred achieved that one.

I remember one occasion when he was going through the terrible ninety-twos, that I took him aside and explained that he wouldn't be ninety-two much longer. Soon he would be ninety-three and expected to act like a big boy.

I'm going to lie on the floor and throw a tantrum, screaming & waving my arms & legs like a big mad spider.

Why not? My father did it when he was in his 60s!

He wasn't senile................ just bad-tempered :-(

I didn't have tantrums when I was a child........... NOT ALLOWED!

Think I'll start plotting now, my list will be endless, assuming they will one day live independently! (two sons, 33 & 34, plus older one's girlfriend, still at home!)

I will still be sitting at the kitchen table at 9-pm, still in my school uniform, arguing the toss as to why I should not have to do my homework.

When in fact I could have done it all in 45 minutes!

:-D :-D :-D

I will also take ALL the coffee mugs upstairs to my room, push them under my bed and NEVER bring them back down.

I may even push one right to the end of the bed, and let a little green furry animal grow in it.

Joeva Report 2 Aug 2015 23:06

Oh yes MTG! .......... my coffee mugs will also be accompanied by a scattering of cereal bowls and spoons with the remains of my breakfast on them like concrete ! .........

I will also wear two pairs of socks.

Preferably one black pair inside a white pair. If I can be asked............I will bung them in the washing machine, still one inside the other.

Then all the white washing can come out grey!!!!
