Mers, that sounds a really lovely night out<3

That is a good philosophy Footy :-)

Talking of shoes....
My mother got the idea that my G. Grandfather (of the Persia fame) worked as a COBBLER in Persia, and "cobblers were held in high regard over there!".

As he was this amazing cobbler, I always wondered why his children were not wearing shoes in the photo of them in the British Consulate.

My mother got it wrong! :-|
He wasn't a cobbler at all! Amongst other things he was a .....
......CABLER (Telegrapher) :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Good afternoon All. Lovely sunny day here, in fact a bit too hot in the City.

Well we did the Cushion Search in my favourite department store. Lock me up now, I dont ever pick anything cheap do I?

However, bite the bullet and hand over the dosh.

Must say, they do look rather lovely on the new sofa bed.

Just slung a chook in the oven, so we will eat when we eat!

I know what you mean, Maddie :-D - I spent more than I meant to for cushions at John Lewis, but they are perfect, and just what I wanted ;-)

Dinner is all finished and washed up - seems strange to be all done and dusted at this time on a Sunday - we don't usually eat until 6 o'clock :-S :-D ;-)

GinN

GinN Report 2 Aug 2015 16:37

Are there some appetising smells coming from the kitchen, Minxy? :-D

If I ate at 3 o'clock every day, I'd only eat one meal a day - maybe a good way to lose weight :-D ;-)

I'll call it the GinN diet - could make me a fortune :-D :-D

Gin is optional ;-)
