I thought Mac was at the Elvington Air Museum

We went to the Easingwold Maize Maze today, my granddaughter had a great time. I didn't think there was much there when we first arrived, but she played all afternoon and it is half the price of the York maize

Very much enjoyed a visit there some years ago - I was interested to see a card on a notice board about an HMS Wild Goose veterans association - I was able to get in touch and found at last a suitable home for my father's Visitors Book when he was the CO in 1946/47 in the Persian (as it was then) Gulf. I had worried it would get binned with the rest of my genealogical papers like censuses - sure some of you have a huge box of can't-throw-aways like mine1
