If you were a victim, I don't suppose you'd think it a waste of time and money. It's called justice, I believe.

Is there any point in spending money on digging up evidence on someone who has been dead 10 years, when we have police saying they can't afford to handle missing person cases?

Seems to me the time and money would be better spent tracing missing persons / runaways and tracking down active abusers than this dragging up of crimes that can never be punished even if they are found to be true.

What do you think?
