I agree with Rollo ..............life is tough sometimes and a bit of harmless fun does everyone good. Hurling insults is neither harmless or fun :-|

What if the tv channel takes the basic position that its viewers are dimwits sadists or misanthropes notably channel 5 with its Benefit programs?

In any case getting back to sport sadism and channel 5 I watched the dismemberment of Australian cricket three times last night after getting back from a gig. You can't get enough of some things :-)

If the Australian press comments on their team were to be posted here they would probably be rrd too !

Sometimes it can be good fun to switch off and watch something totally silly and not-meant-to-be-taken-seriously - Saturday tv wrestling certainly, Arfer Daly (lament from Sarfend Pier), the French singer Sheila, YouTube cat clips and the Magic Roundabout. Enjoying such things does not make you a dimwit.

:-)

In the UK there is no such thing as free speech :-D

magpie

magpie Report 7 Aug 2015 10:26

Free speech isn't allowed on these boards!!

Bobtanian

Bobtanian Report 7 Aug 2015 10:18

Tom and Jerry banned? never :-S

Dermot

Dermot Report 6 Aug 2015 19:50

I used to love Tom & Jerry before they were banned. My current hero is Homer Simpson with his dysfunctional family & friends.

And I am genuinely interested in hearing what 'tag' I'm allocated because of my peculiar viewing habits. ;-)
