I got this message yesterday........

We looked for new Hot Matches but didn't find any. Try adding more relations to your tree.

Add more relations?

There are 20,102 people on my GR tree!

Yes, I know they don't scan my whole tree, but I haven't had a decent match for a very very long time.

Could that mean that there's not many new people with trees coming onto GR or are they searching the same area of your tree each time?

I haven't had any Hot Matches for a long time, did wonder if they had stopped checking. :-0

Any hot matches I'm sent are nearly always from people I've already been in touch with, the matching information was usually from each other!

The NotMatches that REALLY annoy me..........

eg....... Mary McPherson 1850 Scotland

She's probably the mother of someone who married into my tree, and I can't find a record of her, so guessed her birth year & place. I have lots similar.

So many members, but how many still use the site? I have an awful lot of unopened envelopes in my Sent Messages box.
