Great news for your Grandson, Ann, and for all of you. Hope he enjoys his time at Uni and will be able to fit in his rugby along with the usual social life of students and the work. He sounds as tho he will get his priorities tight.

Congratulations to your grandson Ann, lovely news to receive on your birthday.

We live about six miles from Nottingham, both our children wereborn there and Alun also did his teaching degree at Nottingham University. As Pat has said, Nottingham is a lovely city, we sometimes use the trams to go into Nottingham.

Hope your grandson will enjoy his time at Nottingham and will do well.

The other one is Nottingham Trent Uni Ann. Nottingham Uni is the one off the M1 and onto the A52 until you reach Uni area, it's west of the city. The Trent Uni is north of the city, an upgraded college.

Tell him to be careful of the trams, they are so quiet that if you're not used to them they can give you a nasty surprise when crossing the road. I don't know if they run to the uni but they are about in the city.

Hope he enjoys himself as well as works hard. :-)

Pat (in Cyprus) It just said University of Nottingham N84 studying languages.

Yes we are very proud of him. (of course we are proud in different ways of all our Grandchildren) He really did work hard studying and even gave up his rugby while studying. And we had heard that the Uni was oversubscribed so we were doubly pleased that he had it confirmed. They are actually in Orlando at the moment and stayed up until 3am to get the results. :-D
