Comedy actor Stephen Lewis has died, aged 88. :-(

He is best remembered for playing Cyril Blake in On The Buses and Smiler in Last Of The Summer Wine.

"The star died peacefully at 1.50am on Wednesday in the Cambridge Nursing Home, in Wanstead, east London."

He wrote Sparrers Can't Sing.

He was brilliant. I liked him very much.
