I wasn't suggesting he was unsupervised, Ann, it's just that even taking a big sniff of it can cause problems if he inhaled some and others copying this idea might not watch so carefully if children are a bit older

He was well supervised Liz, Mum works in the creche/nursery of the local hospital so I guess she got the idea from there. It was his sensory play day. Another set of photos showed him stripped to his nappy and playing with some shaving foam), squeezing it in his hands. then there was a sand tray, and a tray full of marbles, then water play. But she was with him and watching him the whole time.

Great idea, be careful with Cinnamon tho It can be dangerous, especially for young children

Should have said the spices are mixed with water. But I am sure you guessed that.

Having said that, just thought that identifying different spices would be a good adult party game. (not illegal to sniff spices is it Lol?)

Apparently he doesn't yet actually identify them (he is only 2) but says pooie Still, maybe a future contender for Masterchef??

Granddaughter in law has just been chatting about how she is keeping great grandson occupied. She then sent me a video she has just taken of him 'painting with spice'. But before he paints he sniffs each spice and tries to identify it. He was obviously enjoying doing it too.
