I got home tonight. One cat welcomed me from outside, one came down the stairs to greet me (the other one is to 'cool' to bother).
I spent 5 minutes stood with the front door open, trying to get in the door, desperate for a pee, saying 'George move', and 'Betty move' while the 'inside' one decided whether he wanted to stay in or go out, and the 'outside' decided whether to come in or stay out.

SO embarrassing if anyone goes by - as they can't see the cats

Well, it was a batty old woman talking to her imaginary cat.

That cat has just come in the back door for some meat!

I have still not seen the cat.

We are leaving a fresh bowl of meat each night but it is not touched.

It looks like the home of some batty old biddy who imagines she has a act, which it well may be!

We are having further problems with the benefits and are finding it a bit tight at the moment so, naturally, I have ordered a Feliway to put in the room in the hope it will calm it down and encourage it to come out and , at least, eat, drink and pee in the dirt box.

Both tabbies were gracious enough to dine with us last night. For which we are, of course, forever grateful and hopeful that we have managed to purchase meat which meets with their exacting standards!

Give them time, Sharron, hope they are all perfect house guests!

I think the black cat is still in the front bedroom.

As we have a bed the size of a small country we keep it in the back bedroom so there is room in the front and I think the cat might be behind the water heater.

We have a bowl of water,dirt box, little igloo and plate of food in there.(In case it wants to play the Generation Game!) and we are having to change the food every day because it has not been touched.

I don't think it went out the back window and on to the flat roof but you can never be sure.

The tabby I had in for two days, and which is still coming in to feed every night, did nothing involving bodily functions (eating,drinking etc.) for two days before I let it out again so I am holding out with this one.,

I left the front door open most of the day.

OH has just gone to bed and a black pussy was coming down the stairs.

Must have moved in.
