When you resurface, they can and will give a refund to your credit card.. with me they asked me to pay the amount and then they credited me the difference.. I did the same with FMP.

If it has increased and GR did not let you know 28 days before the renewal you will need to refer them to the T & Cs.. (have a look it is in there somewhere, takes a while to find it.

NZ $ is worth even less than the Aussie dollar so mine looked pretty terrible and I argues the toss and referred them to the T & Cs etc and we went toing and froing until they offered me what I would agree with and it was about £5 less than the amounts that Pat and Andy'smum quoted.

and Auto Renewal is OFF ........... I check every few weeks especially when it is getting close to renewal time

Just checked with business exchange rates and £1.00 is 2.1348 Australian dollars so you paid £14.32

I don't know what the going rate is but there is a thread about it.

I've sent a "please explain" message to the "support" team. Told them I'm not happy that my subscription cost has doubled.

At today's exchange rate it's £14.25.

If that's for a whole year it's pretty good - if you're on a 6-monthly sub, not so good - mine's £8.96, 2 weeks ago.

I can't find last year's receipt, but I have found a few from previous years

for much less........... about HALF what they've slugged me for this year.

I've renewed my subscription.

I got an email from GR, stating that if I renewed before 18 September, I'd get 10% off.

That sounds good.

Have to sign in to GR account.......... that didn't work.

Tried again........ that didn't work.

Third time lucky.

Option to use the same credit card as last year....... might as well..........nope, that was rejected. Tried again.... rejected.

Entered my credit card details (funny thing is, I wasn't given an amount until this was final).

Cost? $30.56. Ummmmm.......... I think that's a LOT more than I paid last year, and I'm wondering about the 10% off........ was it added on?

No idea of the exchange rate, so I don't what $30.56Au would be in Sterling.
