Lightning Strikes Plane

A passengar onboard a plane in Atlanta, America filmed another plane on the runway being struck by lightning. :-0

Apparently "Estimates show that each commercial airliner averages one lighting hit per year but the last crash that was attributed to lightning was in 1967 when the fuel tank exploded, causing the plane to crash."

The planes are designed to conduct the lightning around the outer shell of the plane, without getting in. Still pretty scary though. ;-)
