Have a look at my profile picture. It is on a house near me, and I know of two others. If I see decorations like this, I always look to see if they include a date.

Yes Sharron, I suppose it is, being ornamental plastering. It is the date that makes it interesting.

Sorry, it is a bit difficult to see the date unless you increase the size. It is 1893.

I love looking at pargetting.

I have seen some in Buckingham and also in Essex,in a small village called Stebbing.
It's beautiful
