My grown up children have twice told me to wait, but that is just because they can't let go of part of their childhood, but you have to consider the quality of life your dog is having and ignore everyone else ...thinking of you, and i do know how you feel today

Do what you feel is right and what the vet advises Anne. Thinking of you it is a hard, brave decision to have to make. <3

As a few of you have lose you loved pets recently I am having to make that dreaded phone call today. Our 9 yr old dog hasnt been well for a while. Hasn't eaten hardly a thing for 11 days, drinking ok though. Luckily he had fat to loose but you can see that he has lost weight. His ears are led flat on his head and eyes swinting.

I ringing vets when they open but something tells me deep down that it is time to let him go. I will see what the vet suggests. Also I feel as if it is me making that decision and that all the "grown up children" have disagreed with me and saying No don't do it.
Well they are open now so will go and ring.
