Ah the Heinlein of my youth :-)

I don't remember that one ... when I retire I am going to spend the summers going to the library and taking out all the books I took out when I was a kid and reading them all over again.

... well, if I can. I tried to re-re-read one of my favourites a couple of years ago and I had a hard time with the first paragraph ... apparently I was more literate at 12 than I am now ...

That song features in the book "All You Zombies". The hero/heroine in that book must have the most complete tree possible.
