While we're about it, presumably this is the family in 1841 though the ages make the family set-up a rather strange one:
ROSS Donald M 55 Ag Lab Ross and Cromarty
ROSS Henrietta F 45 Ross and Cromarty
ROSS Ann F 20 Ross and Cromarty
ROSS Donald M 14 Ross and Cromarty
ROSS Georgena F 1 Ross and Cromarty

And this could be Mary in the same village but with another Ross family

Piece: SCT1841/69 Place: Kilmuir - Easter -Ross and Cromarty Enumeration District: 5
Civil Parish: Kilmuir - Easter Ecclesiastical Parish, Village or Island: -
Folio: 0 Page: 3
ROSS Charles M 35 Farmer Ross and Cromarty
ROSS Mary F 35 Ross and Cromarty
ROSS Donald M 10 Ross and Cromarty
ROSS Mary F 8 Ross and Cromarty
ROSS Margaret F 1 Ross and Cromarty

How do you know that her parents were Donald and Henrietta? Have you found her baptism?

just for reference

The Black Isle (Scottish Gaelic: an t-Eilean Dubh, pronounced [?n??t?elan d?°uh]) is a peninsula within Ross and Cromarty, in the Scottish Highlands.

It includes the town of Cromarty, and such villages as Conon Bridge, Muir of Ord, Munlochy, Avoch, Rosemarkie, Fortrose, Tore, North Kessock, and Culbokie.

Hi there Justine - this would be better posted on "Find Ancestors" rather than general chat

Also, use the "Search" facility top right hand corner of this page to see if anyone else on this site is researching this family
