I certainly don't think your daft to still be grieving for your furbaby. I think that you will continue to miss her and feel sad and empty for a very long time to come. Be kind to yourself and take things slowly right now. She was a big part of your life and it's understandable that you are feeling heartbroken. Sending (((hugs))) to you now. xx

My sister has just lost her guinea pig.

She has poor health, and the guinea pig was like her baby.
He loved "cwtches" and used to sit on her bed.
She is heartbroken.

She has 2 more, but it's not the same.

It's like losing a family member when you lose a beloved pet!

Uzzi, i still stroke my girl's picture just as i would have stroked her face in the same places. I talk to her as though she were still here , her dishes are still out and i leave a light on every night for her because she was afraid of the dark.

Anyone who had never owned a dog for years and years would think i am mad.. but i don't care i know she is still around me just as your baby is still around you..just put your hand out to her she hasn't gone really,it's just that you can't see her. <3

You will miss your furbaby for a long time yet, Uzzi, don't feel bad for showing your feelings. We understand.

and it is 10 weeks ago I lost my beautiful furbaby, my best friend, my reason to be out and about. She was so beautiful, a chocolate box face.

Today I cry for her, my heart cries every day but I try to be fair to those left behind 6 days a week,
Even though I knew her loss would hurt me, I never realized how much of my heart she would take with her. So it might be 10 weeks but to me it´s ONLY 10 weeks since she was here with me.
