I am trying to locate any info on Ann Agrave, she married James Burkett on 25 August 1822 and had a son John William Burkett I am not sure about any other children on the 1861 she is down as born in clerkenwell and in the 1871 she is down as born in Shoreditch I know she died in the workhouse but I am unable to find any birth info about her could anyone help

I have the info on the marriage and their son just wanted a birth place for Ann and defianate year to start from to look for her parents

According to the 1871 census she was born in 1802c in Shoreditch.

Death 1871 4Q Bethnal Green, aged 69. Still can find no birth .

Sue have searched everywhere lol and getting nowhere fast makes me wonder why she is so evasive as there are only 2 census for her

well I've tried various spelling of the surname and come up empty - sometimes the name is mistranscribed in a most peculiar way and I feel this must have happened here - we need someone to think outside the box to come up with something

I haven't found her, but thinking London accent, I would guess her name was really Hargrave. She wasn't able to sign her name, so couldn't check the spelling on the marriage register.

There is an Ann Ann Hargrave born between 1800 to 1810
