Oh no.

They still drop in at some time during the course of their busy lives but I don't think the accommodation is quite up to their exacting standards.

Not done much today.

Had a long time in the bath.

There is an awful lot of candied peel to be put on the racks to dry. It can wait!

Just take each day as it comes, Sharron, if you get a lot done on several days or one day, then have a lull, it doesn't matter. The positives of the good days will eventually outweigh the down times. Just congratulate yourself on how far you have come!

Well done,

I didn't say I had been hoovering or anything like that.

Just the penny pinching stuff.

It comes and goes a bit at the moment but there have been two consecutive days of doing now.

I think I am leaving my dark place at last.

This time last year I was given a big pot of crab apples, I cooked some, the jelly bag was not exactly where I thought it was so I couldn't do any more. I panicked and the whole pot of apples was neglected and lost.

There followed a long time when OH would come home to find things like bowls of potatoes in the sink that I had taken out of the sack and not been able to face doing any more.

All power to him, he let me get through it all in my own way at my own pace.

These last two days I have made twelve jars of jam, made the bits hanging around in the freezer into soup for tea, pickled two jars of onions, candied all the peel I have been saving in the freezer, written an article for the parish magazine.

Whether I will manage a third day of this industrious behaviour I don't know but it is good to be able to do things without panicking again.

Thank you for all the support and understanding you have all given me on here as well.
