the rumour is sort of true........

I was shopping this afternoon, and there's a sign outside the newspagent (the lotto agent)......... "Winning Lotto Ticket Sold Here"

A local person has won Lotto

There was $28million in the Division 1 prize pool....

and 28 people had the numbers.

So we have a $1millionaire, not a $21squillionaire

:-D

Still a healthy sum; for many it could be life changing! Well done for your own LS.

We've had 2 winners of significant sums in our locality, one being in our road. After watching them take delivery of 2 cars, one being a sports car, and workmen redecorating and laying carpets throughout, our children asked their children.
"Have you win the lottery?"
"Yes" said the youngest.
"You're not supposed to tell anyone" said her elder brother, telling her off :-D

lol :-D

I wouldn't tell anybody in town if we won a squillion...... or a million! But if we won a squillion we'd share with family.

It would be very difficult not to arouse suspicions. We'd change our car and repave the drive. That would be bound to set tongues wagging ;-)

Even though we only occasionally buy a ticket, we've arranged for our children to sign a syndicate form. That way they'd be entitled to a %age without any of us getting hit by tax. We'd have to win £500 before it kicks in. The most we've ever won is £9.25!
