I knew (not too well, you understand) someone who sold all that sort of stuff on a market stall - charged a fortune for it. Basically they were just pushing the most unhealthy foodstuffs on people with no conscience and boasted that they delighted in "catching" kids on the way to and from school.

They probably owned another market stall down the road selling toothpaste lol

Dark chocolate 70% with orange bits in from Asda... gorgeous

Hate milk chocolate and i always give it to my son if i receive it as a gift. :-)

One of our carers had a serious addiction to Dip Dabs. On the night her husband couldn't get any of them he came home with Sherbet Fountains.

She, being young and inexperienced, didn't know you had to bite the end off and suck the sherbet up through the liquorice. She pulled it out and used it like a lolly.

The other carer, who came in with her, thought that was what you had to do as well.

It must be one of those skills that the young don't learn now.

that are spring up in some towns

You can get some with coconut on the top.....dont know if they have a peanut in their bottoms though.

kali.......used to send your fingers all yellow.,,,,,,,

I never did like sweets that didnt have chocolate in or on them.and now hardly touch it from one year to the next.. :-D

Joy,,,I have 2 Sherbert dips here that the children left,,,,but not the same as the dibber you used get,,,,a flat lolly sweet on a stick...

we have an old sweet shop and they sell most bygone goodies.

Dark choc for me.....but dont have it often as not a big lover of chocolate or sweets.

kali I never seen that for years

We where in a real oldie world sweet shop in Windsor two weeks ago
I bought cough candy the medicated one it was lovely

Bob alcohol isn't to my taste
the only time I have it is when my son slips it into my diet coke
He thinks its funny but it spoils the coke :-D :-D
