Mayfield Report 9 Sep 2015 11:37

I have had emails claiming to be from two of my family in the last couple of days with dodgy links in, one uses Yahoo the other Sky which he now tells me uses Yahoo too.

Luckily both popped up in spam which raised my suspicions.

Be on the look out for any of the following.

Things to look for are
Appears in spam
The senders name also appears in the subject title.
Hovering over the senders name will show the full address but the second part will be wrong, for example senders [email protected] will show up as senders name@ then a random address and .com.

Best wishes,
Mayfield

PS One contact said today his wife had got a message saying her mail box was full and a link to click on, he is not sure if she did but that may have some bearing in it.

I have had one as well, which was in spam. I would never click on a dodgy link
