After the two "probes" last month, the doc recommended Benefiber. It's easy to take, I just sprinkle two teaspoons of powder on cereal. I had nothing to eat on Tuesday & very little on Wednesday (overcooked hospital vegetables)...... so a combination of everything just shut the gate :-( |

I find increasing the amount of water I drink from my usual 6 or so glasses a day to 8 or 9 glasses (plus tea, juice, coffee, etc) usually works wonders, but it may take 24-36 hours |

my gran used to have a dose of Andrews liver salts (think that's what they were called) followed by a hot drink. my father only had to think of prunes , and he would be running to the bathroom .. :-) |
