Looks like I'm still in a job for some time

Likelihood of automation?
It's quite unlikely (1%)

As I'm retired I put in my old job and the result was 1%.

I kept telling them I was irreplaceable! :-P

7% and 40%.

I thought it more likely the other way around :-S

Depending upon which hat I am wearing, either 1% or 4% so pretty safe there I reckon. Those that know me will find the result pretty ironic.

1% - for my previous job(s).

How do robots deal with crappy days, 'cos I've just had one of the worst for a long time.... :-D

Feet up, channel hopping and shouting at the telly, looks like I should be simple to replace. :-(

As we're both retired now I put in our old jobs. It came out as 3% for OH and 1% for me. I can understand OH's reading but thought I would come out at the top end of the scale. Apparently a robot wouldn't match my social intelligence and negotiating skill :-D. Well I did know how strong the coffee had to be to calm the boss when he was in a tizzy.

I admire your optimism, Dermot.

'Automation means more product with less manual work.

We have achieved technological genius of making virtually everything we need or want without working so hard any more. Impending unemployment due to work elimination by advancing technology is a reality of the 21st Century & the greatest social problem we face.

The big difficulty is figuring out a way of maintaining paid employment. I'm confident that the much lauded Labour’s new leader has all the answers'.

It can't have my job as I'm enjoying it too much.

Previous occupation 53%
Current occupation not listed. The nearest is 0%!
If it had been there, it would be more like 75% :-(
OH would probably have been OK. He's 13%

1% 353 ... so should be safe for a bit.
What will millions do who get automated? Retraining a truck driver as software engineer or care assistant wont be easy. :-|

Doesn't seem to have Retired in the list :-)

In my old job it would have been 8%, 284th of 366.
