If you like reading sad stories which contain a slice of humane input, I recommend you to see a heart-softening piece in 'The Times' today under the heading:- 'Mother nursed in secret by child she had given away'.

I think the article may have appeared in other publications this week. There is some hope for humanity after all!

Researching:
I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"

OK folk <3 I'm off to have a cup of tea and a sandwich ;-) and later on I am hoping to witness something special ;-) as there are some 40 Spitfires and Hurricanes taking part in a fly past today to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain :-)

They were originally scheduled to take off from Goodwood Airport (it was known as RAF Westhampnett during the last world war) at around noon today but the take off was delayed due to the weather and they are now scheduled to take off around 2:00pm :-)

Some of these will be heading for Biggin Hill Airport :-) I live only a couple of miles from Biggin Hill Airport and right under the flight path ;-) and as it is brightening up here :-) fingers crossed that I will get a clear view of some of these historic aircraft :-)
