Old bears are special :-)

My brother's teddy was handed down to me, even then he was threadbare and only had one eye, my son had him as his teddy, now teddy resides safely in the wardrobe wearing the navy and white striped t-shirt my son wore for his christening. Waiting......

Was moth-eaten old teddy bear with only one arm.

The bear, which was bought in a jumble sale was also threadbare (no pun intended :-)) and had two mismatched eyes which gave it the appearance of being cross-eyed.

I loved that little bear!

My friends, however, mocked it, and called it all sorts of names :-(

Decrepit, ugly, scan-eyed; just a few of the nasty comments :-|

I didn't care.

I loved that bear

It was my bear.......my crossed eyed bear!

Which was why I called it, Gladly
