Three buzzards circling overhead, a pair of coal tits in the garden, never seen them before, and I have crushed and pressed 300lbs of apples to make cider. And the sun has been shining all day. |

You feel like you should be singing a chorus of Oklahoma. |

The buzzards here get die-bombed by crows - do you get that, bob? |

Dive bombed by crows? Why would they dive-bomb him? |

Yes, there are lots of buzzards hereabouts, and they are forever being dive-bombed by crows and gulls. Crows will also drive off herons, and anything else they perceive as a threat. Luckily the coal tits are too small and quick to be on the buzzard's menu. |

Big and slow I would have thought Bob. |

Mostly carrion, but anything they can get their beaks on. An acquaintance who encourages barn owls on his land says that he has lost several to buzzards. I have seen one struggling to get airborne with a rabbit, but whether it killed the rabbit or no I don't know. |
