Sad but inevitable

Thank you. I can't really be sad for her as she had a long active life, albeit the last 50 years as a widow, but I do feel for my cousin who was very close to her Mum.

I know how you feel Ann as we lost the last Aunt (Mum's brother's wife) in May.

Sad news indeed, AnnG. I send my condolences to you.

I have my Mum's oldest brother left and he turned 100 this year. He, too, is still with it, so to speak, but his eyes are failing now.

As you say, AnnC, the end is inevitable. It's always sad when it happens though.

inevitable as you say Ann - I still have two of my mother's sisters still with us, one a few years younger than me and one a few years older

Sad news this morning as I heard that the last Aunt of my Dad's generation (his late brother's wife) died this morning. She was in her 90s and had remained very with it almost to the end. Rest in peace Aunty Phyll. <3 <3
